Tillingham Flower Show - Fundraising Stall

We will be having a fundraising stall at the Tillingham Flower Show.

The Grapevine Dance Team will be performing.

The Tillingham Flower Show in 2025 will be held on Saturday, July 25th, on the West Field in Tillingham. The parade starts at 1:00 pm, and the main field event begins at 2:00 pm. The event will feature horticultural and handicraft marquees, over 80 stallholders, and field displays.

The Curve is a giant inflatable obstacle course on Mill Dam Lake in St Osyth. Have fun and get very wet trying to stay upright! Not suitable for non-swimmers. Kayaking and Tubing is also available. We’ll have lunch at the Red Lion in the village afterwards.

The dates are Thursday 27 & Friday 28 August.  In addition to the day flying, As dusk falls on Thursday (27), the excitement continues with a stunning twilight festival of the sky featuring illuminated aircraft, lasers, and pyrotechnics.

The official show site opening time each day is 11am and closes 10pm Thursday and 5pm Friday.

Displays are due to start around 13.00 & 19.30 (Twilight flights) on Thursday and 13:00 Friday although timings this could change due to operational requirements.

We’re making a return visit to Darsham Country Centre - a beautiful rural retreat nestled in the heart of Suffolk. We will have exclusive use of the self-catering kitchen, comfortable living and dining areas, and private garden. Outings include visits to The Food Museum where there are 17 historic buildings, a farm, watermill and animals to see; a boat trip exploring an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the river Alde; the Long Shop Museum where the original 18th‑century factory site is preserved with full‑size steam engines, and lastly, the Tide Mill in Woodbridge.

We’ll have an evening meal at the local Kings Head in Yoxford and lunch on the way home at Snape Maltings. A full itinerary will be provided.

The guided trail takes you across the historic drawbridge, through glowing walkways, and past flickering fire pits perfect for toasting marshmallows. We’re going to The Leather Bottle pub for a 2-course meal before joining The Blackmore Players at their festive Christmas Variety Show! Presented in a cabaret-style format, with a live band, this joyful evening promises something for everyone—from toe-tapping musical numbers and hilarious skits to solos, duets, and even a tap dance. The show features a potted panto and maybe even a little ‘Slice of Saturday Night’. Expect laughter, sparkle, and plenty of seasonal cheer.
