To make an impact on the lives of adults with learning disabilities by providing the necessary tools for change to enable them to lead active and purposeful lives.
Grapevine Essex was established in 2012 to provide supported recreational and educational activities for adults with learning disabilities living in Essex. In March 2013 we achieved charitable status and were entered onto the Charity Register with the Registered Charity Number 1151261.
Anyone aged 18 or over with a learning disability can apply for membership. Members are invited to attend a diverse programme of fully-supported and affordable activities and events that are held all year round.
Please Contact Us if you would like to discuss becoming a member of our charity.
Grapevine Essex is committed to providing an excellent and professional service to adults with learning disabilities; comprising affordable, confidence building and educational opportunities that teach life skills, support independent living and improve employability.
The fully supported outings and activities provided ensure valuable respite to parents and carers, in addition to raising acceptance and awareness of adults with learning disabilities within the general public. Most of all, we are dedicated to ensuring our members have fun, develop friendships and enhance their lives within a safe, supportive and friendly environment.
